TDEE vs. MFP

So I have always used MFP to determine the amount of calories that I have needed to eat in order to loose weight. After a year I went and calculated my TDEE and that's saying I need to eat more than 600 more per day!!!! WHAT?!?!

Any suggestions on who I should follow?
I just recalculated both and made sure they had the same information.

if you still have a lot to lose and are still losing I would continue with the success.

If you dial in a smaller weight loss rate to MFP - like 0.5 or 1 lb/week - the numbers may be much closer.

Or maybe you're forgetting that MFP's method assumes you eat more when you exercise, so the calorie goal increases as you log exercise.
