Hi! I have been struggling with weight gain from stress and the accompanying stress eating while I was in school for my PhD. I went through something similar in undergrad, and had success losing the weight afterward through calorie counting & exercise. I'm trying to repeat that success, and keep it for the long haul, now that I am finishing my program. I found MFP through the HTC aria app, and being able to track my food & exercise wherever I go on one device, without having to do calculations by hand, has been a huge help. My main goal is to eat healthy (but good!), portion control, and increase my activity level so that I can sustain a healthy lifestyle (and fitting in my old pants would be a great bonus!). So....hi!
