Jawbone Up Workout Data vs Polar and MFP

Hi all

Ive just started using MFP and am slowly getting into the habit of logging my meals and my workouts. So far so good.

Around this time, I also bought a Jawbone Up which surprisingly is still working and satisfies my nerd / fitness obsession. :)

In the beginning I would only log my exercises through MFP (with details spat out by my Polar FT40 HRM), but now with the Up, I kick it over into workout mode, do my "thang" and then put it back into Normal mode.

The details of my life (including all of the workouts / calories burnt) are synced into MFP when I connect the Up to my mobile.

Im certain the Up details of my workout are no where near as accurate as the Polar and so im a little confused as how to accurately enter the workout details.

Just using the Polar only (which will give the Up details some inaccuracy)
Just using the Up only (which will give the MFP details some inaccuracy)
Use both (which could give the MFP details some extra padding - double dipping)

any ideas?
