In the market for a new blender...recommendations?

I am interested in purchasing a new multi purpose blender. I've been eyeing up the magic bullet and was hoping I could get some feedback from you all. Do you have a magic bullet? How do you like it? Are any components of it annoying? Do you wish it were different? What all can it do? Do you have a better suggestion?
Thanks,
Diane

I love my magic bullet! I use it every day! It's easy to clean and not big and bulky like my other blender.0

I have a Magic Bullet type blender I bought at JC Penney. I love it - It crushes ice better than any larger blender I have had. My son used it to make milkshakes all the time. It is easy to clean and easy to use.0

We have an expensive VitaMix blender... and although we love it, we've shelved it and just use the Bullet! It was such a chore to pull out a big blender and clean the big pitcher just to blend up a single protein shake. We found ourselves just using a shaker bottle instead. Now that we have the Magic Bullet, it's back to quick & easy blending!0

hi there,
I used a magic bullet but I needed something a little bigger!! we have been using the Ninja blender, i love the thing,
I have used a number of cheaper blenders and this one does a great job, it runs about 30 bucks from wal mart.
its simple to keep clean, its safe, it makes great smoothies (they are actually smooth!) crushes ice great and we can make small or larger batches.
I guess my only gripe about the magic bullet was that when we make milkshakes or smoothies we are usually making it for more than just one person, and i'd have to make up several batches. I didn't like all the pieces (very annoying when you don't have ANY cabinet space) it did function well, made ok smoothies (which is what I used it for the most) but I think the Ninja did a better job.0 -
I love my vitamix blender, it goes through anything and makes hot and cold items fast. I have considered the bullet though and might get one for smaller jobs one day. My father in law had one and enjoyed it.0

I just bought a magic bullet knock off and so far am loving it, not only did it come with the two smaller cups so blend and go (and easy to clean,) but it also came with a larger carafe for family servings, and for half the price of the name brand. so far so good
I HATE cleaning regular blenders, when all i want to do is blend and run, not blend and pour then clean it before i go.... i know little silly things, but it's one chore i can't stand lol.
Also great for making omlets, pestos, shakes, sauces, you name it...!0
