I used to beat boys at arm wrestling in secondary school so yeah I guess so. I don't think I could do it now.

    guys just hate bulky girls

I think that guys who lift are fine with it, and prefer it but guys who do not are intimidated by it.

I don't know about intimidated, but they seem to take notice when I am working with the barbell, or dumbells. I normally try to wait til the weight room is empty before I go in to do my work, I hate it when I am being watched, other than by my spotter.

Yeah, I started working out in the middle of my last relationship and we were goofing off when he got all surprised one day.
"I think you're actually stronger than me now, what are you doing?"
    "Push-ups?"
Don't think he liked it very much.

I used to work at a hardware store and my husband noticed my arms and shoulders getting muscular. He was mostly just proud and pleased and would tell me to flex. Lol Still tiny compared to him but I'm also a foot shorter, so no real comparison.

I don't know about intimidated, but I did have a male coworker tell me he was jealous of my biceps after watching me put my hair in a ponytail!

    Yep.

But probably not so much of my arms/biceps as the fact that at the time, I was wielding a wicked chain saw and had a powerhouse grip, too   :smokin:
Made a guy weak in the knees when saw me slinging a double-head ax too. He said he was a little scared but kinda proud and in awe at the same time. :blushing:

(Edited to fix typo cuz really am kinda tired from biking just now & that's a good 'nuff excuse for crappy typing)

Sounds like someone needs to get to the gym (not you).
