I just found this site and I am hoping that it will help me actually lose the pounds I need!! I have been on and off weight watcher for about 3 years now. I lost 25 lbs the first time I joined but I have not been successful since then and gained even more weight. I have a goal of losing at least 20 lbs this year! I really just need the motivation to lose it!!!

    Hello from Williamsburg!!! :)
  • You have just signed up for the best weight loss and maintenance program ever. I'm excited that you've taken the opportunity to make a life change and add lifelong habits for you that will make you healthy and happy. I've made friends on this website that will be my lifelong friends. It's wonderful to just be able to count your calories cuz per Jillian Michaels, it's something that has to be done for your lifetime and exercise at least 30 mins a day too. You can do it. Make it a point to encourage 3 new and different people a day. You'll be blessed ten fold!! God bless you on your weight loss journey!! :flowerforyou:

Hello, I am from Oregon and I have been using this website for about 8 months. It has been very helpful, even though I don't put all the great tools to use, it has helped me track my calories. I lost 17 pounds last year, put back on 7 and started to get frustrated. This year a co-worker suggested this website and now I have lost 27 pounds this year. It has been a lot of hard work. The biggest assest is support from others that are having the same issues. I found it difficult to know what to eat and talking to others has helped a great deal. I am 55 and thought I was not going to be able to do it, watching all the gals in the office drop big pounds by killing themselves in the gym made me think it would be to much for my body to handle. But I found out that 10-20 minutes a day and cutting out sugar, salt and fat made a big difference. Just keep trying to find what works for you and don't give up. We all get discouraged and have a bad day now and then. That doesn't mean you quit, just pull up your socks and start over the next day. It works.
