too low in protein but under calorie goal

I do need to increase protein in diet, today nutrition-pie showed 11% proteins, 53% carbs and 36% fat, if i am still under my calorie goal how does these macros make difference?
I have set my goals as 40% proteins, 40% carbs and 20% fat but my tracking gets high in carbs and low in proteins

Proteins do help with muscle development but does it make a big difference if we are low in proteins?

It depends - if you are very physically active, or you want to lose fat, it is better to have more protein (around 15-20%), especially if you are vegetarian.
But one day at 11% will not make a difference.

I agree; one day doesn't make a difference, but your body uses fat and proteins as essential nutrients within the body. Carbs are the one macro that it doesn't really matter if you hit it because its just fuel - carbs aren't necessary for the body itself in the way that protein, fats, vitamins and minerals are because those are all used in the body for different things (kind of like building blocks or other similar analogies).

So do try to find a way of working more protein into your diet - too little isn't good for the body.

All I know is when my patients do not get enough protein, their skin starts to break down - this one event gives us all the answer.
