how many calories do you take on rest days? Like sedentary I mean.0 -
I had my calories set to 1, 700 and then I was adding on exercise calories. Some days I could hit it, some I would go over and others I struggled, having 400-500 remaining (remember I log my exercise cals too - I almost always net at least 1, 400). However that waswhilst I was doing a lot of running and insanity and I was maintaining at that.
I've just started lifting heavy 5x a week and HIIT 3-4x a week. Because of this I felt the need to play around with my cals again. I've set them to 1, 600 (plus I add exercise cals) and will see how I go. I've been told my metabolism is a beast - so I guess that's a factor too.
I am just under 5 feet short and fluctuate between 108-111lb depending on time of month/day.0 -

I'm aiming for that amount on all days, I was told this by Sidesteel and Sara who run the Eat, Train Progress group. I find I'm just as hungry on my rest days. I spent a lot of time under eating (1000cals per day) and doing a lot of cardio and I think I've screwed my metabolism. I used to be around 116lbs...more skinny fat. I'm closer to 125 now but much stronger and less lethargic. I really want to lose a few inches more than anything.0 -
I usually stay between 1100-1300 on rest days and on workout days I eat about 50-75% of my exercise calories back, depending on how hungry I am.0

Mine's 1300-1400 calories on rest days. But when I'm about to have my red(period) days. I eat at 1500-1700 kcals. thats without exercise. Ugh pms!0

I try to stay under 1200 every day. But go at least 1100 or less for a couple of days a week. Seems to be the only way I can lose any weight. But I am really short too.0

5'1 here. I average a net around 1400 or so. I just got off a 2 week maintenance of about 1800. Going to do that again the weeks before and after Christmas! !!0
