I was wondering do I have to eat back exercise calories if I am trying to gain muscle weight and I have to log what I burn?

To gain ANY weight, you need to be in a caloric surplus. I would hazard a guess that you should probably eat back your exercise calories if you want to gain muscle.0

You have to have a calorie surplus in order to make muscle gains. So yes, you have to eat your exercise calories back, plus extra, if you are using mfp calculations.0
