So, I have lost some weight and I was doing really well. And now, school started again, and I'm dorming and cafeteria food sucks and I can't find the time between work, internship and school to workout. And my family life is ****ing ****ty and I'm sorry for ranting... I just think I need to talk it out
I gained 10 lbs while school starts. How do I get my motivation back. I can't find time to workout and I have stopped logging in MFP. I know I need to just do it, I guess I just want to talk to someone and get my motivation back. Will anyone listen to me, If I talk to them?

Life is crazy and confusing and sometimes you just gotta say f*** it, I need to do this for me. You need to make time for yourself. I feel like I was in a similar "stuck" position 8 months ago. Feel free to message me whenever. I may not reply right away, but I'll do my best to help.0

1. Look in the mirror.
2. Have a long talk with that person in the mirror. Do you want it? PUSH hard for it... it isn't easy, but you've gotta make it work... YOU have to push for it, no one else can make you want it honey.
No time for working out? Make time... even if it is 10 minutes! Jog/brisk walk to class. Get back to logging. You are here now, so you have some time right? I know you probably have a ton of time set aside for studying etc... but listen... don't make that an excuse. Excuses keep us in the same place we are at this very moment.... sedentary.
You can do it... I have faith in you!0 -
This is the place to talk about these things! Where I'm based for my uni project only has junk food machines so I always bring sandwiches and an apple - you could try that? Keep things simple, as FixingMe13 said even ten minutes a day is something!0

Good point. This IS the best place to be right now for you. I sometimes forget about those junk food machines, but.. there are choices of apples, cheese n crackers, tuna w/ crackers? Maybe see if you can find one of those? If not... go for the best choices you possibly can, and come back and log what you ate. Logging will help you a lot. Remember too... DON'T under-eat. Eating under 1,000 calories because you can't find something isn't the way to go either. You need to eat.
Also, it may be a good idea to find your BMR/TDEE....
That will help you find out how much you can eat and still lose weight.

This can so easily be my post..........I really thought I was reading what I had written!
I have gained nearly 30 pounds since returning to school in March. The time and stress of working a full-time job, taking online college classes, volunteer activites and taking care of a family leaves me burned out and trying to find time to sleep let alone exercise.
But everyone is right - it's up to us to MAKE time for the things that are important to us. What I do (when I think about it) is mini-spurts of exercises during the commercials of my favorite TV shows - instead of fast-forwarding through them. During one commercial, I may do crunches. The next commercial may be for pushups. The next, planks or squats...whatever exercises you like or are comfortable with. It may not be a 45-minute run or INSANITY workout, but every little bit counts.
As far as eating habits, I heard someone say just this morning...if you want to lose weight, stay away from bread and sweets! LOL
Now, for me, that's easier said than done. But there's no shame in SENSIBLE portions - for meals and treats. :0)
Thank you for sharing and helping realize I'm not the only one.
I'm about to do homework now, but I'll definitely make time for some sort of exercise today.0
