Hi

Hello, I'm Cynthia. I joined myfitnesspal to lose unwanted fat and tone up. I'm also interested in eating only 500 calories on Tuesdays and Thursdays while consuming 1200 on the other days. Anyway, I'm hoping to eventually become comfortable with myself, feel healthy, and look forward to a happy long life. :happy:

  • Hi Cynthia, nice to meet you. I am new here also, but have been reading the forums quite frequently to get advice. I think 500 calories is really too low to be eating. This will put your body in starvation mode, and will ruin your metabolism. You should have at minimum 1200 calories per day, or more depending on your body. Best of luck with your journey!

    Welcome Cynthia, he's right 500 calories is too low, but as you read other forums you will understand the correct way to lose unwanted fat and pounds. MFP has great resources; I wish you much success.
