Are wristband trackers as accurate as the fitbit one?

I have the one but am thinking about getting the force. But from my experience with the nike fuelband and how if I just moved my hand to pick up a glass of water it would register that as a step, the wristband fitness trackers concern me.

I'd like to hear your guys' experience using both. Has anyone ever wore both and compared steps?

I don't have the link handy, but I read a review where the reviewer attached multiple wristbands and compared them to the fitbit one. The wristband trackers were not as accurate as the fitbit one. Some days they undercounted, but most days they overcounted. This really depended upon the activities that the reviewer was doing, however, so for you it may actually be just as accurate, but if you do a variety of activities than the odds are that it is going to over count the number of steps.

I have a Nike Fuelband. It can be manipulated such as riding a motorcycle vibrates it to get you fuel, mowing the lawn vibrates it to give you fuel. Generally for the most part I think it is an accurate portrayal of what I do during the day. As with anything, if you want to cheat to get a number then you can do that on most everything.

If you really want to sync up your workout then get a Fuelband and also get the Nike+ shoes.
