I hope this is the proper forum to post this in. I definitely don't think it belongs in food and nutrition. LOL

I found this when checking Yahoo and it made me die a little inside and question the future of humanity. Not to mention laughing by butt off at the very idea. . .

ahahaha NASTY! I feel like skateboarders everywhere will have serious appreciation for them, though. HAHA.
They'll be right next to the Vienna Sausages in convenience stores in no time!

wow that is ridiculous! it takes like 10 seconds to make a PB and jelly sandwich lol...and probably costs way less than the candwich does

and also i read more about it and saw this:

ingredients that would have gone inside a can: A hot-dog bun wrapped in cellophane; a squeezable packet of peanut butter; a squeezable packet of jelly

So you still have to make your sandwich?

this line made me laugh out loud:

And, unfortunately, there is more: the yellow circle on the left side of the can says "Candy Surprise Inside." Not clear whether the candy is in the sandwich itself or a bonus side item, but either way there should be no surprises in a sandwich in a can.

I've seen this on the Steven Colbert report, but I was / am just hoping it was a joke.

    That is just wrong.
  • Actually it kind of made me laugh. How novel. I would buy one just to see it. The BBQ chicken one is a bit scary.

What made me question our future and how the gravitational pull of the earth may some day be altered is.....

Really we need mozzarella sticks in a grilled cheese. OMG. I thought this was worse than a PBJ in a can.

as somebody mentioned above, you still have to make the actual sandwich. you just don't have to go out and buy the individual pieces to make it. it's like a lunchable... in a can.

Might be something I would consider packing for a long motorcycle run. Just because of the convenience.

Not likely to stock it in my pantry though.
