Hi, thought i would just say hello, just joined a few days ago and loving this site already, keeping me motivated so far

just a question regarding water consumption, do you include coffee, tea as well as just water, at the end of the day it is all water, just curious

heres to getting fit and getting the weight under control

    I personally don't count it as my water consumption just as I don't count water content in foods.. it's just bonus water at the end of the day :smile:

    Personally, I don't. Water is water...everything else has additives. Good Luck!
  • I tend to ignore the water count on here and just try to drink my 2 litres a day.

    However remember to log teas and coffees as food... a cup of black coffee is 5 cals, milk? sugar? think about how 10 cups could add up...!!

    Welcome! Yes, I would log it all as water. FYI that is a controversial issue, as so many stupid things are on MFP :grumble: so there will be lots of different opinions. Another FYI, there is a well hidden search functionality in the blue text right at the top of the form headers. Alternately, hold down CTRL and hit F and then type search and it will highlight it for you.
