I'm not really new but recomitting...how many times have we all said that. Oh well. I think what I need help with the most is figureing out what to set my macros at. It seems like it is red everyday in the sugar category and it's all from fruit and yogurt!! I'm 32 year old female, very overweight eating 1600 calories a day. Any input is helpful!!

The macros are carbs/protein and fat. MFP default is 55/25/30. I have been going for 45/35/30 which seems to work better for me. Unless you are diabetic or pre diabetic, the sugar number is not as important. I often go over, especially this time of year. I LOVE apples.0

Focus your energy on maintaining a healthy calorie deficit. Once you're comfortable with that, begin working on the management of macros. I am not a big carb person, so I eat more protein and good fats than others might. Set your own goals with balance in mind. As far as sugar? I don't track that anymore daily - I love fruit and it's very healthy for you.0

Ignore the sugar, just focus on your calories.0
