  • You're eating a lot of empty carbs all day. Chex rice cereal, popcorn, even the protein bars have way too many carbs. And the skim milk is doing absolutely nothing for you. It has 2 grams of protein. Eat carbs that are more filling and have nutrients in them (100% whole grains, quinoa, fruits, veggies) I eat protein bars every once in a while too, but the kind you have has too many carbs and not enough protein. Try Zone or Kashi, they have about 12 or 14 grams protein and less sugar. Peanuts are great in moderation as a snack. Not to eat all day, way too much fat. Try almonds, are even better for you, less salty and more filling.
