Alright, so I'm sure there are a million and one posts about getting the head back into the game. And I'm pretty sure I've even posted a few of those myself. But in all honestly, I don't have it in me. I'm sitting back and watching all these amazing people around shedding the lbs like water off a duck's back and then you have me. Going no where. I stopped eating right. I stopped most exercising. I've managed to gain back everything I lost a few months ago and then some. I have no motivation to do anything. I'm the kind of person that needs a reason to be motivated, when really I should just do it for myself. I don't really have anyone keeping my accountable for my actions, so why bother. You know what I mean!? I hate to be a Debbie-downer, but I need to get back into the swing of things. I easily give up things and lately, I've been so tired to do anything. Which I wasn't like this a few months ago when I was busting my butt getting out there. My sister says it's probably low iron and that I should start taking iron pills and vitamins. I know she's right, especially considering my age I should be taking them regardless. Alight...so what's my problem!? Seriously...how do I get out of this weight-loss funk and get back into it. HELP!!!!! Please?

  • it is so hard to stay motivated...i completely understand that. i figure it's best to do it just for yourself, and evenn then it's easy to get lost in the whole idea of losing weight...it could be a vitamin deficiency that might cause you to be feeling down.

good luck and try not to let it all get you down. i try to find motivation in doing everyday things - eating right, being healthy, wanting to feel good and even fitting in my pants.

Good Luck! We are here for you! I hope you can find your motivation!

    Hey,

I feel like that a lot of the time too. I joined a gym, decided I didn't like it and so didn't go. I started MFP in June, got 'busy' and decided I didn't have time for it. I think I got motivated when I started reading all of the success stories on here. I just though 'man, I wanna be a success too'! So I decided I shouldn't just quit without really trying. I was luck and a friend of mine joined the same gym as me and now I've decided I will go back and work out with her. She joined MFP and checks on me here too, so then I feel like I have to keep up with it. I think support goes a long way. I know when I hit my first big 'min-goal' it will all be worth it. Think of how great you'll feel when you are done!! You will have worked really hard and it will be all worth it. You can go out shopping and get something super cute as a reward :o) If you get down just send me a mssg and I'll try to pump up your mood :o) My best advice is to get some buddies on here who will keep you accountable for what you do and encourage you on the way!! :o)
