I'm new to the boards, looking for support and ideas on my fat loss (not weight loss) journey. I'm not doing anything radical...no elimination diets, no massive calorie deficits...just taking things one day at a time and making better choices...and working out (mostly weight training and a bit of running) 3-5 times a week. I'm only down 2 pounds so far (it's been a month), but I'm down 3.5 inches (I have questions about that too...how do you take measurements. I'm down 3.5 inches based on bust, waist, hip, one thigh, one arm measurements...is that how I'm supposed to do it? Or do I include both arms and both legs in my measurements?) and I feel great I feel empowered.
I have decided to give myself a fitness goal (hike a 15 km summit with my 5 year old and equipment (totally 70 pounds) strapped to my back. I'm excited to make this goal become a reality) that is obtainable...I like summits regularly...just not with that much weight strapped on
