Has anyone tried the Insanity Asylum nutrition guide? any pitfalls, cost concerns? Is it truly doable for a working person? I have 20 lbs. to lose.

Well, just googling it and glimpsing at it quickly, my cost concern would be that they want you to buy their products. I've found in my limited experience here on MFP, and by reading tons of others' MFP success stories, that just counting calories will get you to your goal without any extra costs. Good luck to you!0

i guess it depends on what you mean by 'going by the guide'.
i followed the insanity guide and the asylum vol 2 guide but didnt pay much attention to the vol. 1 guide.
by 'following' i mean i would just do the calculation to determine how many calories i should eat, and if there was a suggestion on what percentage macros to eat i followed that as well.
If there was a recepie in the guide that looked easy for me, i tried it. but most of what i eat was pretty basic anyway... fruit, veggies, chicken breats, steak.
Non of the guides i read requried you to use thier suppliments but they were probably recomended often i'm sure.
just follow the calorie calcution as cheaply as you can grocery wise and you'll do great0
