lb vs kg

My weight has been going all over the place the last two weeks ( it all started thanks to the period), and I just got tired of seeing the scale go all over the place.
I've decided to switch my scale to kg. That way it will take longer to see results, but at least I won't have to deal with seeing the constant ups and downs.

Anyone else have a preference? I saw a couple of people here have kg instead of lb, and wondered if it ended up being better or more frustrating ( waiting longer to see results).

  • you'll see people using kg because its the metric system, as far as i know, australia, england and i think europe use the metric system, the us does not.
I live in australia and use kg's. lbs to me is just an arbitrary number, it has no meaning, where is kg i can put something to.

I live in NZ and we use kgs here, but I lived in the states until I was 14 so have some understanding of pounds. I actually do it the other way to you - track my weight here in pounds because 1 pound is a more satisfying loss than .45 kgs.

But whatever works to keep you happy, I say :)
