about 17 lbs lost

It is hard to say exactly as my weight has fluctuated quite a bit but I believe there is about a 17 lbs loss between the two pics. The first pic was on my 31st birthday (5/4/2013) and the second was taken 2 days ago (10/19/2013). I have been walking and hiking a LOT during this time and lost at least 10 lbs just doing that and the weight has only just recently started to fall off more rapidly as I have cut sugar, gluten, pasta, breads etc out of my diet approximately 2 weeks ago. I do not log calories or keep a food diary on here, I simply stay away from sugary crap and if I must have a treat, I have a little, but then I make sure to add to my exercise to burn it off. Its amazing once you stop eating so much sugary crap, how the cravings just disappear.
I have a long way to go but it helps to look at this and see the little bit of difference. I see maybe one less chin, a more defined waist, and a little less of a gut...though the pic is blurry. I will update and get a better pic once I have made significant progress. .
