Ive never dieted before but im wanting to lose aroudnd 10 lbs or so before January. I know its way beyond possible but i'mjust curious if im on the right track since I've never done this before.

usually in the mornings i'll have oatmeal with unsweetened almond milk and fruit.
for lunch i'll have tuna, spinach or something like 1 cup of whole wheat pasta iwith greek yogurt and garlic powder as my sauce.
and usually for dinner i'll eat some steamed veggies, with chicken or egg whites or something along those lines.
I don't drink extra calories Im strictly drinking water or black green tea

I joined curves and on a good workout I can burn 350 calories I go 3 times a week and I go on the elipticle 1 day of the week and try to burn anywhere from 300-400 calories. im eating 1200 a day as well

by doing this am I on the right track? Ive been doing this for about 2 weeks and getting frustrated that I haven't seen the scale really move that much. any feed back would be great help!

Welcome Melanie! This really depends on your starting weight and base activity level (how much you move during the day, not including extra exercise). Have you filled out your goals and logged your food carefully using the MFP program? That would be the place to start.

Even at one pound a week it is absolutely possible if it is really weight you need to lose. It gets slower as you get closer to your ideal weight.

Weight loss isn't hard, it's really just tedious. Log accurately. Hit your calorie goals. Repeat.

    Good luck!
