Calf strain

Looks like I pulled my gastrocenmius working out today. I've racked my head trying to come up with when, but nothing comes to mind. I did C25K W3D1 yesterday along with some of my normal Wii Fit Plus cardio stuff. Today I just did some WFP cardio, some light leg strength training, and rhythm boxing. At some point this afternoon, the back of knee started aching. Talked to a friend of mine who is a nurse anesthetist with a husband who is a pain management doctor, ruled out my hamstring thank God.

I've got it wrapped, iced, and elevated.... its the resting that is hard. I really wanted to keep on track and do D2 tomorrow, but I guess I will have to see what this leg is like in the morning.

This is my first injury since working out since May and I was on track to post some important numbers this week, too :cry:

Hopefully it just keeps me down a day or two.

    That happened to me just walking on a slight incline 2.5 deg on the treadmill. It bothered me for about 2 weeks. I just ate ibuprofen, ice, rub downs and lots of stretching. Good luck!

    So sorry to hear that. =( I just finished Week 2 tonight. I'll start week 3, day 1 on Thursday. I got off track with vacation stuff. I may need to extend my week 3, too.

    Yes, ibuprofen....and I'd suggest heat! That helps me, when needed. :heart:

    Think if I stretch it enough I can workout through it?
