So I am 259 days or so into eating whole food plant based and logging into MFP - I am loving it, I am so healthy after a crap year of health in 2012 and my weight is coming off without effort!

I was immobile for months this summer recovering from surgery for a broken ankle that put in a plate and 7 screws and just kept eating WFPB despite that I could not exercise. I dropped 6 lbs in 8 weeks during that time. I am finally up and around enough to snap a new progress pic.

I am 31 lbs down in total and still dropping. I started at a size 14 (UGH!) and am now in a size 8 but heading quickly to a size 6 as all my new size 8 clothes are big already!

This pic just speaks volumes of how well it is going and how skinny I will be at the end! Me at day 5 - so unhappy and so sick!

I am finally starting to see myself as thin now after so many steroids for the lung infections and being so unhealthy! So weird to see these pics side by side.................

    Nope - it is really me and I am still somewhat in awe looking at the side by side - I guess when you look in a mirror every day you don't see yourself as losing weight - that is until you do a side by side like this which is a huge motivation...............and 259 days - my how time flies!

    Wow! Congratulations on your awesome success! I hope your leg is healing well, my SO broke his leg in 3 places this past March and has a plate in it as well and the recovery has been hell for him.

    You look great, and wearing heels after a broken ankle, you go girl!

    My daughter broke her ankle last summer and it's still swollen and bruised.
