Motivating/supporting others by becoming a personal trainer

I am almost down 40 pounds and have considered becoming a trainer for several years. Everytime I see others that are definitely in need of some weight loss mostly due to joint problems, I think they could do chair workouts until they weight gets down enough to make walking more comfortable.
I am in need of wise counsel. So what are your thoughts on becoming a trainer to help others in their weight loss journey?
Thanks
