Hey! I found a few good things working for me in relation to losing weight. I need a more variety of gluten free foods, snacks that are good to help with weightloss in addition to what I am doing and taking already.

    At this moment I happen to be eating a delicious ham and spinach sandwich - my sandwiches are basically white corn tortillas stuffed with whatever would have gone in a normal sandwich. Yum! For a snack earlier I had hummus and baby carrots.

    Weight loss is dependent on a calorie deficit. Use a food scale if you aren't already. If you just want more variety - you may try googling foods that are gluten free (or finding ones that are marked gluten free) and then searching recipes that use those ingredients :)

    I may not have celiac (my sister does, I'm just gluten intolerant), but I'm wondering the same thing

    I don't know what you are doing already, but you can feel free to add me and check out my diary. I am almost two years past my Celiac diagnosis and just got back my first normal metabolic panel in over 7 years. Hooray for gut healing.

    Substitute foods that I eat: Food for Life Brown Rice bread -- way less sugars than other GF breads, Enjoy Life soft chewy bars and Pamela's Products Whenever Bars. The Zone has a couple of GF bars, one peanut butter and one chocolate that make a good breakfast on the go as well. NutThins crackers don't have too much added sugar and have more protein than most GF crackers and GF Bisquick makes a great sausage ball, decent biscuits and a great base for deserts. ETA: I forgot my pasta! Hodgson Mills is the brand I have the best luck cooking with everything from spaghetti and baked dishes to salad.

    I love spaghetti squash as a substitute for pasta. Udi's bread is the only one I can stand and it honestly only works when toasted (but I am picky that way). Lettuce wraps work great for bread subs for sandwiches.

    Pamelas is the best for pancake mix. Agree with the other poster about Biquick. I also do a lot of stir fries with thai kitchen rice noodles.

    Fruits and veggies are naturally GF. A lot of salad dressing is GF.

    For GF-special stuff, I like King arthur Flour GF muffin mix, Annie's GF mac n cheese and any and all rice pasta.
