Hello. I went over my calorie intake today. I know I must go to gym but being so tired of taking care of 2 kids kinda pooped me out. Should I still force my body to excersize? Or just consider it as a rest day?

Working out GIVES you energy so YES, get out there anyway! I know I'm a day late so this is for the future! Ha! The more days you take off, the more tired you'll be. The more of a consistent workout routine you add to your life, the more energized you'll be!

If you have the time, try to hit the gym, or perhaps take a walk around the neighborhood. If other duties (family, work, etc.) prevent getting in more exercise, then just try to get back on track tomorrow. Can't change what you did in the past and can only make healthier choices the rest of today and tomorrow.

So you went over a calorie goal that already includes a huge deficit from maintenance and you think you need to go have some unplanned workout to make up for it? Sounds like a recipe for a whole lot of disordered thinking and a very unhealthy relationship with food and fitness.

You do understand that your calorie goal is a massive deficit from maintenance right? Even if you go over you're still at a deficit unless you really went to town...even then, tomorrow is another day. Try taking a bigger picture approach.
