Hey just a quick question before I start a bad habit... on here mfp work it out so you can eat back your calories that you exercise
(i burn off 400kcal at the gym.. i can eat that back in the day)
is the principle still the same the other way round??
(i overeat by 400kcal so i go burn it off at the gym later)
i'll still be in deficit I just wondered if it mattered on timing.. thank you!

it only matters if it's after 9:45pm or before 5:15am. It needs to be done in a certain order if it's between these times. Timing doesn't matter if it's outside these times. True story. Read it on a science blog.0

sure...it can work that way. What matters is getting to your net goal at the end of the day. It would be easy to over eat and then not do the work out though.0

Yeah but keep in mind that most of us are really bad at estimating what we eat and gym machines and online calculators tend to give exaggerated burns so you can get into trouble eating back all of your exercise calories or assuming that you can burn off over eating.0
