Today i stopped making excuses

I have been diddling around with the C25k programme on and off for almost 2 years, i usually get to week 5 and the thought of running 7 minutes daunts me, my calves are sore, blah blah blah and i give up. Today i went to the gym and thought i'm just going to shut up and run 5k and i did without stopping. It took me 33 minutes but i did.

So now i'm feeling mighty pleased with myself and can actually vision running that 10km that i've been wanting to do for ever.

Awesome job!!! It is more of a mental battle than a physical one. I hope you are feeling as proud as punch :D.

Good for you! It's so easy to talk yourself out of running (I do it all the time!). Well done for not listening today!

AMEN to this. As Henry Ford once said :"If you think you can not you are right and if you think you can you are right." It is amazing what we can do if we set our mind to it.
