Hi all! I hope everyone is having an awesome day. I just have a question about daily calorie intake. I've been a member of MFP for a year now. I've been plateau-ing a lot and After a year lost 25 lbs. now, I've lost 19 lbs.

I'm currently 5'6 and I'm 165 lbs.

My daily calorie intake is about 1,510 calories for a goal of losing 1 lb. a week.

However, I find myself having constant headaches. I'm not taking any medication at the moment and I don't know if this is from not eating much or what.
Usually for breakfast, I have a granola bar then for lunch a can of tuna and crackers. Dinner is usually the one with the most calories along with snacks.

Do you have any advice for me in terms of calorie intake allowances? Winter is coming and I barely exercise nowadays since I can't afford a gym and most of my exercising comes from walking. However, being unemployed, I've also found it stressful and difficult to track. I've fallen of the wagon as well. *sigh*

Thank you very much for your advice and I hope you have a fantastic day.

If at all possible keep the calories that you are eating packed with protein, and less processed carbs. Granola bars as they are tasty really aren't great for you. The sugars and carbs are terrible high. When you eat sugar things like that sugar levels spike and then when you are coming down you will get a headache. But that is just my opinion. I hope you find what works best for your. I think at that amount of calories, if you pack it with nutritional foods you should be just fine.
