Hi lads and ladys,
I'm confused how to enter 10 mins of skipping/jumping rope and 10 mins of hula hooping into MFP? What catagories would they go under?

Thanks
Kerry

Skipping would be Jumping Rope then choose slow, moderate or fast. Search 'jump' and you'll find it.

    Hula hooping... I dunno

I hula hoop and the only thing I've found on here is a wii hula hoop. I did some checking around and the actual hula hoop burns more calories than the wii because you have the hoop on you. I generally look up my hula hoop calories on another site (or you could wear a HRM) and enter the appropriate amount using the wii setting.

There is a jumping rope entry in the database you can use. For awhile, before I got my HRM, I used an estimate of calories burned from Self.com but now that I use my HRM, I'm burning at least 30 calories more in just 5 minutes' time.
