I started running in 2009 when I was 46. I'm now 50 and have done a 100k, five 50 milers, nine 50ks and more half and full marathons than I can remember. As long as you're still breathing it's never to late to start anything. You just have to start.

This is why I love this site! its great to hear such inspirational stories it is so encouraging.

Nope, not too late at all! I just started running this summer, and I'm 36. Thought I could never run because of past knee issues. Ran my 1st 10K this summer and going to do a 1/2 marathon in March. I love running, although I only do it 1 or twice a week. I do other cross training/cardio in between.
