Am I doing something wrong?

edited February 6 in Health and Weight Loss
My diary is open for now. I try to consume my 1200 calories but some days I am just not wanting the extra calories. I've read that that can be a problem but I'm new to this.....only 3 weeks in....I've lost 8.4 total even though it's not logged. I just wanted to add that I have one cheat meal a week if you see high calories.
Am I exercising too much?
Not eating enough?
I don't like to do 6 small meals a day. I understand frozen meals aren't the best but I do stay in my calorie goals for the most part.
If I'm working out and eating way better....(I use to eat fast food all the time) shouldn't I be losing more weight?
I'm not CLOSE to giving up though. T25 is killing me but I am trying to stay in there. I'm also going to start weighing myself once a week.
I did have another question. The weight seemed to be going quickly (or so I thought) and now it seems as if it's going more slowly. A friend told me it could be because I'm gaining muscle. Ugh, I'm frustrated!!!!!!
I forgot to add that I'm also taking nature wise 2x a day for about 4 days now.

If you've lost 8.4 lbs in 3 weeks...I'd say you are definitely doing something RIGHT! Congratulations! There's a lot of water weight in the beginning, but actual fat takes longer to come off. As long as you see things going in the right direction, you are doing great!

    Congratulations on your loss!
At the beginning you lose weight faster it's mostly water weight. After a few weeks it slows down. 1-2lbs per week looks like a little but its just fine.
1,200 calories is too little food. How did you decide that should be your calorie intake? eating 1200 or less will lead you to starvation mode and instead of losing you can gain weight. try adding foods that are more calorie dense. Good fats are the best options: almonds, olive oil, butter... 1.4 cup of almonds has over 150 calories. You get enough calories from them without having to eat too much.

But definitely, you have to eat more food. Sounds ironic, but that's the only way you will start losing

Oh, and you build muscles you might not lose or gain weight, but will lose inches.

Sometimes you have to eat because you have to, not because you want to. Again, try foods that are more calorie dense.
