fit bit + swimming?

I've been thinking about saving for a fit bit, but the majority of my workouts are in the water, and i know it's not waterproof. can you manually add exercise on the app or anything?

Not to my knowledge. There is a monitor that is for swimming only. Bit pricey. I workout in the pool, water jogging, aerobics, calisthenics and some laps. I google exercise water devices ...sorry that was a while ago and can not recall that name of the device. Hope that helps.
