I have lost 28 lbs in 6 mos. At this point, the scale isnt moving even with two workouts and eating well.
Anyone have a words of wisdom, so glad that I am maintaining the loss, but have about 60 lbs to go.

I'm not sure if the scale not moving for 2 workouts is a plateau. I had a 4 or 5 good workouts last week and didn't see the scale move till today. Hang in there.

Have you had any off days or high sodium days? Are you stressed out? Any of these factors could be the reason for the scale not moving. Keep doing what you are doing and you will start seeing the numbers work in your favor again. Maybe try and up your water consumpation if sodium could be a factor. Good luck!

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on the 28 lbs lost!!! That's really fantastic!

I don't know if I have any great words of wisdom, I haven't really experienced a plateau (at least not one for more than about 3 days, which probably doesn't count) but, some things I've been told are to change things up. To maybe try a different type of exercise. If you're doing mostly cardio, do some good strength training, Or even change up what you're currently doing. Maybe try a higher intensity, or 5 minutes longer. If you're doing two workouts a day, maybe switch to one longer one? That seems to be what I hear most often is that you just need to change your exercise in some way to sort of get your body out of a rut.

Good luck and keep up the good work! I know you will get through this plateau, just keep working and I know you will succeed!

Right, I was doing so well with the water and stopped drinking it, and yes stressed and yes sodium, all things I knew deep down, but needed someone to hit me over the head with it :) thanks

Try changing up your workout routine. After doing the same exercises for a few weeks your body gets use to it, and will burn less calories doing the same thing.
