This talks about non-processed food like butter, cheese, yoghurt and eggs, which I eat anyway (except butter)

I thought this was pretty well known by now. For some time, the medical recommendations I've seen have been to limit, not eliminate, saturated fats. Limit, as in, eat more unsaturated than saturated.

True, but you don't normally get cardiologists discussing it on the BBC main channel's breakfast show, only to have a fat dietitian tell him he is disingenuous (I hope he sues her for defamation or something).

Butter is better for your heart than margarine, said the "eminent cardiologist" on live TV.

I think that statement could never be proved, without specifying the margarine. Margarines are like pizza - there are a great variety and they vary in ingredients. Some are healthier than others.

In, because it's only a matter of time before someone comes in screaming "THAT'S NOT TRUE!!" and accusing someone of being part of the "big food" propaganda machine
