Would you shop here?

If there is a good discount and the food tastes fine and is safe, I see no reason not to. It's expired, but still perfectly good food.

I absolutely would! There used to be a store here that would get out of date stuff from Whole Foods, etc and I shopped there all the time. They would have gluten free cookies that were 4.50 at the regular grocery store for .99, etc. My produce stand also has an ugly table where everything is half price. Tastes the same to me!

I would. I constantly eat food that is past the sell by date. I like to live dangerously.

Oh ya most items with a sell date can last much longer, and selling them at huge discounts are better than tossing them.. Most grocery stores, places offer this stuff to their employees at huge discounts instead of throwing it out.. why not have a store for it... still would need the discount though.

Of course some products I would not buy after the date.

I used to shop at "scratch-and-dent" grocery store when I was in college. It was a crap shoot on what you'd find when you went in there. They did sell items that were past the Sell By date, but nothing that would kill you. They had fresh items too, like eggs and milk. It was a great way for a poor college kid to get a month's worth of food for $50.

Absolutely. I eat "expired" stuff all the time. Just use common sense and you won't get botulism :)
