babies, tears, and eliptical machines!

In March I was told "You have PCOS, you might not be able to have kids" that was that, no more info just that. It was devastating because the previous August hubby was finally ready to start making babies and I went to the dr cause I was a week and half late.... so now skip ahead 7 months I get a text from my mom today simply stating "Well, I'm gonna be a grandma" My brother and his wife are expecting!!! Now don't get me wrong I am beyond ecstatic for them but can't help but be a little jealous and sad for myself. ...Lets just say my brother has been down a very dark and not so narrow way in the past but with God's grace and mercy has turned his life around and is doing miraculous. But when I got this news after my "yay so awesome so happy congrats" speech I cried and cried and cried till I thought I might puke... then I put on my gym clothes and cried the whole way to the gym, I put in my head phones I got on the elliptical ... and I get it, I finally understand what they mean when people say they go for runs to clear their heads. Because I just blocked everything out, it was just me the music and my screaming muscles. I came back home and NO ONE (except now you lovely people) know that I ever shed a tear. So I guess maybe there is more to this fitness/exercise stuff than just looking sexy, getting fit, it helps you relieve stress and just escape for a while. I am so ready to go back in there tomorrow for some more "Therapy"!!! I know this is pretty much just rambling but I just really needed to get it off my chest and its 11:30pm here.

Big hugs for you! I suffered miscarriages, and no one except my husband ever got how painful it was to celebrate others' news. It's a yearning like nothing else.

Find a dr that specializes in Pcos. You are not doomed.

You may still be able to have a baby if you're able to get your weight to a "healthy bmi", by the way.
    Just tougher, but do-able.

My friend has 4. She has PCOS. Don't you DARE give up!
  • Hey there :)
I am glad you have found an outlet, and I am a firm believer that things happen just as they are meant to! DO NOT GIVE UP. Just because it happened yet does not mean that the right time isnt coming! My cousin, with PCOS, was over 300 lbs when she found out she was pregnant with baby number one (about 4 weeks before she was supposed to have her gastric bypass). Funny how things work isnt it?
Keep doing what your doing! Keep faith!!!!
    Best wishes Kate:heart:
