    Maybe an exercise that is more relaxing. I'm with most of the others with the idea that doing something that lets me work off a little steam helps me. I also realize that doesn't work for everyone. However, calming exercises such as swimming laps or Yoga might be a good option.

    I use the being upset as the reason to work out. I can picture someone's face as I lift and use it as motivation. I lost 30lbs after my last boyfriend broke up with me.

    Turn the negative into a positive.
