Below daily calorie goal

I have been on MFP for a while, but just recently started up again. I have had 3 job changes (one of which was working for a restaurant group where I ate for free and gained a lot of weight) and moving to 3 cities in a year and half. We have settled down and now I have time to get back into fitness and health.
Here is my details:
G: Male
H: 6' 4"
SW: 264
CW: 239
GW: 185
I currently run 6 days a week and typically go for 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. In addition I plan to be adding strength training 2 days a week.
After my workout and inputting all my food I come out around 1000 calories a day less than what my MFP goal is. I am selective about what I eat and try to eat more vegetables, fruit and whole wheats. I also drink a lot of water, nothing else.
I do not feel weak. I do not feel hungry. I actually feel great. I try and listen to my body and am planning losing the weight over the course of a year and plan to continue maintaining after that. I don't want to push my body.
So I guess my question is; should I try and eat more calories or I am OK with my current calorie intake and burning?
Thanks in advance.

If you could make your diary public so we could see your actual goal and all that, it would be much easier to offer advice.0
