Hi, I just started with this board, hopefully it'll help me lose the weight that I've been trying to get rid of for the last 7 years. I have the app on my phone and it's been a help. I've been going to the gym with my daughter and it's been great. Anyway I just wanted to say Hi to everyone.

    Welcome! I hope you use MFP as a tool like I have in losing weight and getting healthy. If you log your foods and play the #'s game it works. Watch your portion control, snack healthy instead of junk foods, exercise and try your hardest. Stick with it and be consistent and you will succeed!

    Hi every one I m also new to this board I have gained a lot after my forth pregnency I m 14 week pp now. I m breast feeding my baby 24/7. I want to lose waight through healthy eating with in my limits and through daily walk I hope MFP will help. I want motivation

    I agree; stick with it and you'll succeed. For me, I have to make it "job #1". I think about being fit, not so much about the weight loss, and I think about it daily. I use a fitness wristband, Fitbit Flex, to monitor activity, calorie burn, etc. and it syncs well with MFP. Plus having friends, for me anyway, is key. When I log exercise here, my friends comment and encourage. On Fitbit, it's a friendly competition to keep moving. I guess the real key is finding what works for you... you CAN do it and you can do this for YOU!

    I can understand how you feel. My daughter is going through the same situation as you. Since she's had her fourth child it's been rather hard for her to lose the weight. We've been going to the local fitness center together and it's helped a lot for both of us. We motivate each other. I'm hoping MFP will help keep me motivated.

    I just joined MFP liike a few minutes ago. My goal is to lose 10 kilograms! The food that gets prepared at home is really healthy but my main problem is when I go to school, my friends bring yummy but naughty food such as cookies or sandwiches with mayo etc. and we always share it among friends. Hope this helps.

    Hello Everyone,
    I just decided to get better with food choices and workout routines. I am making a promise to myself not to join any other weight loss programs designed to put me in a cookie cutter plan. I know this site is great for recording food intake and I would like to get some results for realistic goals and build from there. I would like to lose 100 pounds over all but I know its going to take time. Any suggestions and assistance is appreciated.
