Hi I'm new at this and never ever thought I would be writting about my weight on a blog! I'm 34 & have been married for almost 3 years now. I have a son that is 15 and a daughter that is 10 and although I gained some weight after I had my kids it wasn't much and I still felt and looked good. After I got married I got comfortable and gained over 40 lbs! I hate the way I feel and look... My husband gets upset because I complain about my weight all the time due to the fact that I have done nothing to change to my eating habbits or do I exercise... just like to complain :) I don't eat much but I'm eating all the wrong things... I just entered my breakfast & lunch in the food calculator and about died when I saw I was already over my limit on caleries for the day. I'm hoping that this will be a good tool for me that I can learn to utilize to get me back to feeling healthy and comfortable with myself again. Looking forward to a good support system as well.

    Welcome to mfp. I love this site. It really makes you aware of what you are really eating. I don't think most of us realize. You can also find lots of support on this site. Add me as a friend if you like. Good luck!!
  • Welcome. You are going to enjoy this website. I have been here for almost a week and already feeling great and making progress. Everyone is so supportive and enthusiastic. It's very contagious. You will do great if you stick to your calorie intake. Add me if you want. The more encouragement the better.

    Welcome to your journey! You will love this site so long as your honest with your daily food log you will see where you need to improve. I agree that most of us did not know how much we were overeating until we logged it.
