Sugar in fruits & my daily food log

So, I've been tracking my food on here, obviously that's why I'm here. Many days sugar "allowance" is over. Even on days when I'm really good (i.e., didn't give in to the vending machine m&ms).

On those days a lot of my sugar is from my fruits: a smoothie (fruits and spinach, little milk/water), an apple or pear for snack.

Then some days I'll have peanut butter with an apple or a few crackers, so that has sugar as well.

Should I not worry so much about the sugars if most of it is coming from fruit? I certainly cut fruit from my diet!

I am just getting started and wasn't even paying attention to that! I am 4-5 times over too! Same thing - green smoothies with some fruit (because it is just so so bitter without), fruit...
I have only been on for two days on this most recent return and have hit my calorie goal - but sugar intake is clearly very high.
Would love insight on this too!

I don't track sugar and it hasn't stopped me from losing weight.

I think it really depends on your goals, your concerns and what will make you healthy and happy. Personally I tend not to worry about the sugars from fruit unless I feel I'm going overboard; I love fruit (much more so than veggies), so I'd rather take he extra sugar in order to have fruit in my life. That said, I do try to keep it in moderation - an apple or two while at school, maybe some raspberries for dessert, etc., not a bushel of apples a day or 6 pieces of fruit every day.

That said, someone who has sugar problems (diabetes, etc.) will have different concerns about the sugar, or someone who's found it hard to lose weight while ingesting that many carbs/sugar. I say experiment and find what works for you and your desired lifestyle.
