Eating: Then and Now

So, just for fun, I took a normal day of what I used to eat. I pretty much ate out for every meal. I'd eat 2 mcmuffins, 2 hashbrowns and a sprite for breakfast (and still be hungry after). For lunch, we would go to either a Japanese steakhouse, a hamburger joint, or something of that nature. For dinner, it would be a steakhouse, american dining, or Italian. I added these meals up and created a sample day. Keep in mind, sometimes I ate more and sometimes I ate less.
I still have some tweaking to do on my diet, specifically in the sodium column, but overall, my eating has changed dramatically. I have been doing this for almost two months now and have seen a huge difference in my energy levels, my mood, and my overall well being. Just wanted to share how far I have come. Anyone else with this same story?

Mine was like...5000 calories (half a pack of chipsvahoy for breakfast).
Then it was 1000 calories.
Now its usually around 3000.0 -
That is amazing progress! I'm really happy on how little changes have made a big difference in my life. I still go out to eat, but I make better choices. My friends can't figure out how it works. I tell them it's all about the big picture.0

I figure I used to eat about 3000 calories per day. I eat half of that now.0

I know right? Some days I'd have two croissants for breakfast and McDonald's at lunch (large coke, fries with 3 packages of mayo, 10 chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce) and a huge snack of cheese and crackers (probably 6 servings of cheese). Then dinner (that was usually pretty healthy though) and ice cream (probably 2-3 servings).
Amazing really I was only 213 lbs at my highest.0 -
Great job!0

an average day for my past self would be at least 3500 calories, and that was if i ate 'normal' foods and didn't binge a lot. i can't even imagine the days where i had a sweet tooth. i could sit down, eat a whole pie, eat a whole tube of cookie dough RAW (yes i mean a whole damn tube, that makes around 40 cookies lol), several bags of chips etc in one day... and other cringe worthy stuff. my highest was only 180 surprisingly, most likely because ive still been growing etc (only 18 y/o) but if i didnt start to control myself i dont even want to know where id end up.0
