Nighttime snack

One of my weaknesses is snacking after dinner. For those of you big into nutrition, what would be a good filling snack for bedtime? I do have PCOS, and know that following a diabetic diet is recommended. Sometimes I feel like I'm legitimately hungry at 9pm (I also work nights) and sometimes I feel like it's just habit. I've been told before that nighttime snacking is generally discouraged as the body mostly stores food at that time of night. Eating a bigger dinner doesn't seem like a good option because I need to avoid big insulin spikes. Any insight or links to info are appreciated :)
