I am not sure where i should have posted this (sorry)
Just wondering, i always rinse with cold water and drain my canned beans, but I can't find nutritional info on the site regarding this...which I know will decrease the sodium amount significantly. I am curious about what other people do? I was adding a recipe and came across this issue.
Thanks

I also rinse my beans. Look in the database for homemade beans see if the calories/sodium are any different.0

Thanks for the suggestion:
The calories, carb, fat, protein, fiber are identical. The sodium goes wayy down...almost to zero...but i know even though i rinse them some sodium will remain in the beans themselves.0
