I did a full push up today during insanity day 3 a couple hours ago. I'm so sore. I think it's time to get up of this floor now though lol

Well done you!! I've never managed to do a proper push up - even when I weighed far less and was much fitter. Congrats!!0

Congratulations!!! I am still doing girl pushups haha. I did a bunch the other day, but I bet doing regular pushups feels great! Way to go! I'm nearly there haha0

What's a "girl push up?" Is that on your knees vs. on your toes? (And congrats!)0

Congrats! I do real push ups sometimes and feel so much better, but oh my goodness! I still like my girl push ups when I just don't have it in me to do real ones lol0

Way to go!! I can't wait to have this NSV!0

Congrats! You will be doing several more soon.
I started with full plank push ups, hollow rock situps and squats about a month ago. I now do 3 sets of 12 each every morning and will probably be adding a few more soon.0 -
I do push-ups (regular ones) and I'm a girl, so are they girl push-ups?!0

"Modified" push-ups! I said "girl" push-ups in a crossfit class when I was the ONLY male that day. I'm glad I made it out alive. "Modified" push-ups
Oh and great job

A good way to graduate to proper push-ups, if you want to, is to start with inclined ones and work your way down - stairs are an excellent way to achieve this. Start with using, say the 3rd or 4th step for your hands, your feet on the floor at the foot of the stairs. Make sure you can do at least 10 push-ups in that position, and try to do at least 50 altogether throughout the day. Every time you go to go upstairs, do another 10. Work at that until you can do 100 in a day, and then work at it until you can do the 100 in sets of 30, 40 or even 50 at a time(!). Once that feels comfortable (it may take a week or two), move down a step and start the process again. Keep doing that until you run out of steps, and then you'll be doing 'real' pushups, plus within a week or two of that, you'll be able to do 100 of those a day as well!0
