    But suppressing hunger is pointless unless you're going to take them for the rest of your life. If the only way you can have self control is by not being hungry then you're likely going to put the weight back on when you go off the pills because you've really learned nothing and changed nothing about yourself and how you deal with impulses or cravings.

    I am on Phentermine 37.5 mg once a day. Prescribed by my doctor. Also I am on 1500 calories per day, and eating several small meals throughout the day rather than one large meal at night.
    I am 5 days in and already 7.5 lbs down.
    Phentermine suppresses my appetite and gives me energy to get up and do things I would have done before. Like actually going for walks and exercising.....or just getting up and doing things around the house.
