After seeing a chiropractor for about 4 weeks now for low back pain and hip flexor pain - the chiropractor told me this morning that he thinks I might have Psoas Syndrome. I have looked it up online and kind of understand what it is. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what kind of treatment you had and if it worked for you. As of right now I am told to still remain active and was given certain stretches to do but I stretch regularly and nothing seems to be helping with the pain. Any ideas are much appreciated!

I don't know about the "syndrome" but suggest you find a very knowledgeable and credentialed yoga teacher -- you will be shown how to stretch out the *front* of you -- imagine the place between your torso and thigh you "fold" if you sit, or lift your knee as if marching. Many times back aches will be due to tightness in there.
It seems counter-intuitive to work on the front to relieve the back! But tightness there will affect your back. Try lunges (the back leg/extended leg side will be getting the stretch you want) and other such releasing work. Not sure how soon it will help the pain, but stay with it, strengthen and release that area, and your back will thank you!0
