There is nothing about weigh issues on the side effect list but that doesn't mean it's not affecting you. How long have you been on them? It could be a short term effect if you're new to them.
  • I've been on them for three years and gained a lot of weight but was also trying to conceive my daughter but I've gained over 100 pounds and I asked my doc if they could cause me not to be able to loose weight and he said no but I just wanted to see if there was anyone whose lost a lot of weigjt while taking it

3.6lb in 3 weeks is really good progress. I don't think you have a problem at all. The human body doesn't burn fat that quickly, big losses in one week, it won't be all fat that's being lost, it'll mostly be water weight. 1-2lb a week is a good rate for losing weight, and there's a good chance it was all fat that you lost, not water weight. So don't stress about the medication or anything else, keep on doing what you're doing and be patient.

An average of 1.2 lbs a week is pretty darn good. Maybe you need to re-evaluate your goals to something more realistic and to avoid being let down when you don't see ridiculous losses.

3.6lbs does sound a decent weightloss. Have you been losing faster?
  • Well I lost 2.7 the first week .8 the second and .1 the third?

how are you measuring your food? The most common reason for not losing is overestimating portion sizes, so you could be eating more calories than you think you are.

what's your calorie goal and what's your exercise programme and your day to day activities?
